Don't just have senses, use them

Our outward appearance leads to our assumptions on who the inner person is. We can see a person’s features, their eyes, their nose, their ears, their mouth. We usually can tell pretty quick whether or not they have the ability to hear, see, smell, taste, or even touch, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that we know they have the capability to listen, watch, inhale, savor, or feel. Our senses notice, but questions create understanding.
The only way we get to know that is if we stick around long enough to find out. If you’re curious about something or someone, ask questions. When we judge through assumptions instead of facts, we typically find ourselves in a situation we didn’t have to be in.

Asking questions, any questions, that help flush out and bring a party to understanding is the most efficient, effective, and empowering way to move yourself and your goals forward. Questions lead to facts that bring understanding, which over time will become mutual respect, regardless of personal position, because there is a value to knowing truth, and that is trust!
Dig deeper, don't just have senses, use them! Listen carefully, watch purposefully. Inhale the air that surrounds you, savor these experiences, and feel the sensation of joy that only truth can bring.
